Dr. Bashiruddin received his medical degree from Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, Pakistan in 1979. He completed his three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Woodhull Medical and mental health Center, affiliate of the State University of New York health Science Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1989. He was board certified in internal Medicine in 1990 and recertified in 2000. He is also a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified Federal Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Bashiruddin joined Family Medicine Associates in 1989. He has always strived to provide excellent care for his patients, with a focus on preventative medicine and personalized care. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the course of his nearly 30 years’ experience listening to his patients’ concerns and treating them with his valued skills. His hospital affiliations include Baystate Noble Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. When Dr. Bashiruddin is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending his leisure time with his family. He is an avid gardener and also likes to travel.
