Biography
Dr. Sarah Bashiruddin grew up in Western Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Smith College. Before attending medical school, she worked as a research assistant at Tufts Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2016 and subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University/Lifespan. She then moved back to W. Mass to fulfill her dream of practicing primary care at Family Medicine Associates. Her clinical interests include the sociocultural aspects of health care and quality improvement. She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care. When not in the office, Dr. Bashiruddin loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys exploring New England and beyond, reading, exercising, and growing her houseplant collection.
